BOISE DOES RHODES – SKATEPARK FUNDRAISER

 

 

The Boise Skateboard Association is hosting a Rhodes skatepark fundraiser at the R Bar on Wednesday, June 13th from 8pm-11pm. $5 Cover gets you your first drink and raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets available for purchase at $5. All money raised will be donated to Boise Skateboard Association in support of our mission to rebuild Rhodes Skatepark. So come out, have a cold one, snag a chance to win some big prizes and support local skateboarding and a great cause in improving and making Rhodes skatepark an Idaho destination!

208TAT2FEST ROUNDUP

 

The free skate session on Saturday and skate comp on Sunday went off over the Memorial day weekend. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out! The new “Beast”, 36′ feature in the mobile skatepark was well received and saw some pretty insane tricks thrown throughout the weekend. Keep an eye out for future additions, improvements and enhancements to the Beast for next year!

TBR SK8 COMP – 208TAT2FEST – MAY 27TH

The Boardroom has teamed up with the first annual 208Tat2fest, holding a Jam style skateboard competition, next Sunday, May 27th from 1-5pm in the Expo Center at The Idaho Fairgrounds. Three categories – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Tons of great prizes. We have a monstrous new 36′ skate feature that we are excited to unleash during the 208tat2fest. Saturday, May 26th we will host an open skate session for pre-registered participants from Noon-10pm. You can pre-register for the event at The Boardroom or purchase passes for either a day or weekend if you’d just like to check out the festival. A one day pass is $15 or a full weekend pass to the festival is $30, but all who pre-register for the skate event will receive a full weekend pass for just $15. A portion of the proceeds will go to the BSA Rebuild Rhodes campaign.
